Seated Voronoi ferrule on a wedge
FIG. 01 — Finished seat Voronoi / Black

On the bench

  • Two-part epoxy Shafting grade
  • 220-grit sandpaper Tip scuff
  • Acetone + cloth Squeeze-out
  • Painter's tape Hosel mask
  1. 01

    Prep the shaft

Mask the hosel with painter's tape, then scuff the tip section with 220-grit so the epoxy has something to bite.

  2. 02

    Dry fit

Slide the ferrule down to the .355 taper and check the seat. It should stop firm and sit square — no rocking.

  3. 03

    Epoxy

Mix a small batch of shafting epoxy, coat the tip thinly, and rotate the ferrule as you seat it to spread the bond evenly.

  4. 04

    Clean up

Wipe squeeze-out immediately with acetone on a soft cloth. What you clean now, you don't sand later.

  5. 05

    Cure and play

Let it cure a full 24 hours before the first swing. Then walk to the tee with a build that reads intentional.
